Copley Medical Center – Surgical Wing Expansion

Venmar Custom Rooftops

Copley Medical Center in Stowe Vermont is fully underway, building a new Surgical Center to replace its current operating rooms which were last updated in 1979.

Preliminary site work began in mid-April and groundbreaking was held on May 25, 2016. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2017. Surgical services will not be disrupted by construction; Copley will continue to provide for the health of the community throughout the project. About 2,000 operations are performed at Copley each year, surgery categories include general, cataract, urological, obstetrical-gynecological and full-mouth oral surgery reconstruction. The construction manager for the project, John Kause, PE recommended CleanSuite’s for the three (3) OR’s and one (1) Procedure room due to their modularity/ease-of-installation and the clinical benefits including full laminar flow through the sterile patient field. Additionally, two Venmar custom rooftops will be provided to serve the entire new surgical expansion.
